Plague of frogs
Several Calamityware plate enthusiasts have suggested that a
plague of frogs could make a memorable calamity.
So I've been auditioning frogs all weekend.

Arabia exhibit
Yesterday, I visited the Arabia exhibit at the heinz History center. The Arabia was a riverboat built in Pittsburgh which sank in the Missouri River in 1856 and was recently recovered with the cargo largely intact. I prowled the rest of the museum while I was there. here are two pages from my notebook.
